Inventory Reconciliation

Continuous visual stock checking against your system of record, so a discrepancy surfaces on the shift it happened rather than at the next stock take.

A warehouse aisle camera view. Trinocular AI has drawn a detection box around each carton on the racking, every one labelled with its SKU, detected quantity and match status, with a floor monitor reporting 419 of 421 matches reconciled.

What it does

The gap between counts

Between stock takes, the system of record and the physical rack drift apart, and every day of drift makes the eventual reconciliation harder to trace. Reading the rack continuously narrows that gap from months to hours, which is what turns a discrepancy from an accounting problem into an operational one that can still be solved.

What gets read

The system reads SKU, label and carton count per bay and matches it against expected quantity. Shortfalls, overstock and misplaced pallets are flagged with the bay and the time, and a running match rate is reported by zone and aisle.

Narrowing the stock take

The realistic outcome is not that you stop counting. It is that the count becomes targeted: the zones with a clean match rate need a sample, and the effort goes where the discrepancies actually are. That is usually where the hours are saved.

Honest limits

The camera reads what faces it. Labels turned to the back, stock buried behind a pallet, or bays outside the camera's view will not be counted. This narrows a stock take, it does not remove one, and anyone promising otherwise has not looked at a real rack.

Questions

Does this replace our annual stock take?

No. It narrows it. Zones with a consistently clean match rate need sampling rather than a full count, and the effort moves to where the discrepancies are.

Can it integrate with our WMS?

Counts and discrepancies are available as events, so they can be reconciled against the warehouse management system you already run rather than living separately.
